We have dedicated over 25 years of knowledge, expertise and efforts in breeding rare and even endangered reptiles in captivity.
Welcome to our website.
CritterKingNL is an initiative of a group of Dutch and Flemish enthusiasts who keep and breed rare and sometimes endangered species of reptile and amphibian. So we are not a webshop or have any commercial interests at heart. Keeping and breeding these interesting animals is a passion and is done on a nonprofit basis. But we are registered at the Dutch chamber of commerce and have a VAT license for (inter)national trade when required.
Currently (the last 10 years) we have been specializing more and more in Montane species of Chameleon. We have been successful with breeding multiple generations Usambara three-horned Chameleon (Trioceros deremensis), Jackson’s Three-Horned Chameleon (Trioceros jacksonii jacksonii), Mt Meru Jackson’s Chameleon (Trioceros jacksonii merumontanus), Helmeted or High-Casqued Chameleon (Trioceros hoehnelii), Spiny-flanked Chameleon (Trioceros laterispinis), several Blade-Horn Chameleons (Like Kinyongia boehmei, Multituberculata and Tavetana), Natal Midlands Dwarf Chamaeleon (Bradypodion thamnobates) and Transvaal Dwarf Chameleon (Bradypodion transvaalense)
Currently we keep and breed around 20 species of Chameleon. Including Calumma, Trioceros, Kingyongia, Chamaeleo and Brookesia species. Have a look under our Breeding Project for specific species information.
